de timp in care s-a desfasurat viata si activitatea lui Nicolai Copernic, adica sfarsitul secolului al XV-lea si prima jumatate a celui de-al XVI-lea, a constituit o perioada deosebit de importanta in istoria Europei. In aceasta perioada incepe sa apara tot mai pregnant conflictul dintre vechile relatii de productie, cele feudale, si noile forte de productie, care se manifestu in primul rand in dezvoltarea industriei manufacturiere.
